The Ancora Pinot Grigio is a vibrant and refreshing white wine from the rolling hills of Provincia di Pavia, south of Milan. Light, crisp and zesty, it captures the essence of northern Italy with a clean, delicate style that’s perfect for casual drinking or pairing with food.

Meet the Producer

Produced by Adria Vini, a collaboration between Boutinot and Araldica Castelvero, this modern venture has been crafting high-quality, approachable wines since 2003. The winery combines traditional Italian viticulture with precise modern techniques to highlight the freshness and aromatic qualities of Pinot Grigio.

Production

The wine is made from carefully selected Pinot Grigio grapes grown on hillside vineyards in Pavia. Grapes are harvested during the first two weeks of September, gently pressed and clarified before undergoing cool fermentation at 16–18°C in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged 3–6 months on fine lees in stainless steel to develop texture and freshness before bottling.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, Ancora Pinot Grigio shows apple and citrus aromas with subtle floral hints. The palate is crisp, clean and delicate, with bright lemony acidity and a fresh, dry finish.
