Bodegas Granbazán is one of Rías Baixas' leading estates, dedicated to producing world-class Albariño that showcases the unique terroir of Galicia. The estate focuses on single-vineyard expressions and extended lees ageing to create wines of exceptional depth and longevity.

Vineyard & Production

Vines averaging 40 years old are pergola-trained in shallow granite soils in the Finca Tremoedo vineyard. The grapes are hand-harvested into 17kg crates to preserve integrity. After 12 hours contact with the skins, the free-run juice undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. The wine is aged on fine lees for 36 months, developing remarkable complexity and texture.

Tasting Notes

Ripe citrus and orchard fruit aromas with a touch of honeysuckle. The palate is gently rounded, with lemon and stone fruit notes backed by appealing floral characters, leesy notes and a long mineral finish. Complex, textured, and elegant.
