Since the late 1980s, Abel Mendoza and Maite Fernández have been crafting small-batch, artisanal wines from old-vine vineyards in the foothills of the Cantabrian Mountains near San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Rioja. Guided by meticulous vineyard work and minimal intervention, their wines express the unique soils and microclimates of the region with honesty and precision.
