Since the late 1980s, Abel Mendoza and Maite Fernández have been quietly crafting exceptional, small-batch wines from old-vine vineyards in the high-altitude slopes of the Cantabrian Mountains near San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Rioja. Viticulture & Winemaking
Harvesting is done entirely by hand, with each vineyard plot and grape variety picked separately at peak ripeness.
