Le Argille Cabernet di Cabernet is an elegant and powerful red from Veneto, Italy, showcasing a refined blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wine presents an intense ruby red colour with garnet highlights and a complex bouquet of blueberry, blackberry, and wild strawberries, layered with hints of plum, black cherries, vanilla, subtle tobacco, dark chocolate, and green pepper. A full-bodied, structured wine with depth and a long, harmonious finish.

47 Anno Domini is renowned for crafting distinctive, terroir-driven wines in Veneto. Their meticulous vineyard practices and innovative techniques result in wines that are expressive, concentrated, and elegant.

Production

The wine is produced using a 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, with grapes treated using the Double Reasoned Maturation (DMR) technique. Selected branches are clamped before full maturation, allowing the grapes to age on the vine and develop greater concentration and structure. After harvest, the wine is aged for 24 months in cement vats to preserve purity and integrity, followed by a sensory evaluation to determine bottling time and an additional minimum six months of bottle ageing. The result is a wine of exceptional elegance and complexity.

On the nose, aromas of ripe berries, plum, black cherries, and hints of vanilla, tobacco, and dark chocolate are complemented by subtle green pepper notes. The palate is rich and structured, with concentrated fruit, velvety tannins, and a warm, elegant finish.
