Zesty citrus with white stone fruits. Hints of gooseberry rolling into a full layered palate finishing with a lovely balance of texture, weight and clean refreshing finish. Sourced and made by the irrepressible Ant Moore Select small parcels from the southern Waihopai Valley ridge, were harvested at different times and levels of ripeness, and vinified separately.

In the Winery
The vinification techniques provided a range of flavour profiles from which to blend. With cool ferments to retain freshness, and some tropical components aged on lees for texture and palate weight. The assemblage of this wine has resulted in a multilayered wine that is flavoursome.

The bright, crisp Sauvignon is a perfect match with all sea beasties from delicate freshly caught seafood to rich and meaty barbecued king prawns.
