The American Whiskey category is produced in the United States from fermented mash of cereal grain. It is divided into subcategories that include Bourbon, rye, Tennessee Whiskey and Corn. Tennessee and bourbon lean more towards the sweeter end of the scale and with Rye which are more complex and spicier.
