Old Pulteney Huddart is a Highland single malt with a distinctively smoky character, celebrating the birthplace of Old Pulteney in the coastal town of Wick on the Caithness coast. This expression combines the signature maritime influence of salt-laden sea air with subtle peat smoke, creating a whisky with depth, complexity and unmistakable personality.

Matured solely in American oak, Huddart begins life in second-fill ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in ex-peated whisky casks, imparting a gentle smokiness that complements the classic Old Pulteney character. The result is a richly warming malt with coastal charm and a subtle nod to the distillery’s heritage.

Poured into the glass, Huddart shows a rich gold colour. The nose is warm and inviting, offering mellow wood smoke, honey, creamy vanilla, hints of burnt toffee, and notes of crisp green apple. On the palate, softly smoked peat combines with freshly-ground spices, smooth vanilla and sweet, salty coastal flavours reminiscent of salted caramel, finishing long, balanced and distinctly maritime.
