Distilled from their 2011, 2012 and 2013 barley harvests then matured in 29 bourbon barrels and 6 oloroso sherry butts for a minimum of 8 years. The result is a dram with an elegant aroma, sweet peat smoke, followed by waves of citrus and honey finishing with notes of vanilla and salted caramel. The palate is bourbon driven 100% Islay bed which brings an initial malt driven profile followed by green fruit, apple and pear. With the finish the peat smoke returns and remains on the palate whilst being balanced with a creamy profile and toffee note.
