Warre's is owned by the Symington family, port producers for five generations since 1882, although they can trace their port ancestry back to the 17th century. Today, five members of the Symington family still work in the company, responsible for the vineyards and the winemaking of all Warre's ports.
The 2005 vintage is made from its Quinta da Cavadinha vineyard. It provides notes of tart and juicy plums, sweet blackberries and red cherries with a hint of chocolate.
