A wine that truly expresses the underlying philosophy at Waterford Estate, by reflecting the diversity and exceptional fruit of the farm. Inviting aromatics of rich dark chocolate and plum fruit, with additional layers of earthy tones, clove spice, crushed violets and a combination of dark, red berries. The palate is well balanced and effortlessly complements the aromatics. Coated with velvety tannins which provide fullness, and a natural acidity that adds vibrance and elegance to the lasting finish. This iconic flagship blend, named after the owner of Waterford Estate, Jeremy Ord, or “Jem”, as he is affectionately known. This is a master blend of different red varietals that collectively epitomise the best of the vintage at Waterford Estate. The goal with this wine is to truly express the diversity of their terroir, and more specifically their soils. The blend is comprised of different grape varietals all grown on the property. Cabernet Sauvignon serves as the base and the blend is completed by different varietals of Mediterranean origin.
