This fabulous 100% Malbec wine from Mendoza, Argentina has been aged for 18 months in new French oak in combination with second use oak 50/50. The result is this divine wine with scents of blue fruits and figs that are mixed with spiced notes. Aromas reminiscent of cinnamon, cloves, wild thyme and fresh tobacco. On the palate it shows great intensity and energy with muscular and textural tannins.

The Chanares Estate is located at 1,184 M (3,888 ft). Spur pruned bilatreal cordon. Drip irrigation. Northern exposure with a west to east slope of 2.7 degrees that favours air circulation and sanitary conditions in the vineyard.
