Produced by the Denogent family from five hectares spread across the esteemed appellations of Mâcon Villages, Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé, this Chardonnay reflects a commitment to sustainable viticulture. Herbicides are eschewed in favour of grassing between the rows, a method that helps prevent erosion and retain moisture during warmer vintages.

Each wine is crafted identically, allowing the vineyard itself to express its unique character. Grapes are hand harvested and pressed directly into 228-litre French oak barrels, where both fermentation and malolactic fermentation take place. The wine is then aged for 18 to 30 months, with a modest proportion of new oak (12–15%) and the remainder in one to two-year-old barrels, all without bâtonnage.

The result is a Chardonnay with aromas of red apple, toasty oak and brioche. On the palate, it offers precision, intensity and racy acidity, culminating in a long, elegant finish.
