Paul Jaboulet Aîné Vacqueyras “Les Cyprès” 2017 is a rich, expressive red from the southern Rhône, crafted by one of France’s most esteemed producers.

Brilliant ruby red with violet hues, it reflects youthful vibrancy and depth. The nose is complex and aromatic, offering ripe red berries—raspberry, blackberry, and black cherry—layered with Mediterranean herbs, black pepper, vanilla, and a touch of earthy minerality.

On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied with juicy dark fruits like fig, plum, and blueberry, complemented by warm spices such as cardamom, ginger, and anise. Hints of chocolate and sweet tobacco add further complexity, while silky tannins and balanced acidity create a smooth texture and a lingering, spicy finish.

The wine is a blend of Grenache (70%), Syrah (15%), and Cinsault (15%), grown on stony, clay-limestone soils typical of Vacqueyras AOC. It beautifully reflects the richness of the terroir and the warmth of the Mediterranean climate.
