Meet the Producer

Emiliana is one of Chile's most pioneering wineries, leading in organic and biodynamic viticulture since 1998. The estate focuses on producing expressive wines while maintaining environmental sustainability and respecting vineyard workers.

Production

Grapes are hand-harvested, with a week-long cold pre-fermentation soak at 8°C to enhance fruit extraction. Alcoholic fermentation occurs between 25°C and 28°C with daily pumpover adjustments based on tasting. Malolactic fermentation happens naturally in stainless steel tanks. 20% of the wine is aged in French oak barrels for six months before blending to achieve complexity and balance.

Tasting Notes

The wine shows a varietal nose of ripe dark plum flesh with subtle leafy notes. On the palate, it is rich and fleshy with earthy undertones, dark spice, and a rounded, satisfying finish.
