Meet the producer
Château Saint-Pierre is a historic estate in the Saint-Julien appellation, producing wines that combine traditional Bordeaux winemaking with modern precision. The estate focuses on crafting wines of elegance, structure, and ageing potential, reflecting the classic Médoc character.
Production
Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted carefully. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with gentle extraction to preserve the fruit and structure. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, around 50% new, for approximately 16–18 months, resulting in a wine with depth, complexity, and refined tannins.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby-red in colour, with aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, cedar, and subtle graphite notes. The palate is full-bodied and structured, featuring fine, silky tannins, a rich core of ripe dark fruits, hints of spice and tobacco, and a long, persistent finish that reflects its Saint-Julien heritage.
