Château Beaumont is a historic estate located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, between Margaux and Saint-Julien. With a winemaking tradition dating back to the 18th century, the château is known for producing elegant, well-balanced wines that reflect the finesse of the Médoc terroir. The 2016 vintage is a standout year, offering depth, structure, and remarkable ageing potential.

Viticulture

The vineyards span over 100 hectares on deep gravel soils with excellent drainage, ideal for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Sustainable viticulture practices are employed to preserve biodiversity and ensure the health of the vines.

Winemaking

Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, with a portion of new oak, for 12–14 months to enhance complexity and integrate tannins.

Tasting Note

Deep ruby in colour. Aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, and subtle spice. The palate is structured and refined, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, harmonious finish.
