Three B's Make A Triumphant Return
We have been stocking Knob Creek bourbon for a considerable time now—a small-batch premium bourbon that remains highly popular. What some may not realize is that Knob Creek is part of an exclusive collection known as The Small Batch Bourbon Collection. This is widely known in the U.S. but is less familiar in the UK due to the rarity of the other three bourbons.
These other bourbons—Booker's, Baker’s, and Basil Hayden's—are what I like to call "the three B's." Each of these whiskies is a premium offering, hand-crafted in limited batches, using recipes dating back nearly 200 years in some cases. These exceptional bourbons were developed by Booker Noe, grandson of the legendary Jim Beam. As a sixth-generation Master Distiller, Booker played a key role in creating the super-premium bourbon category, coining the term "small batch" in 1992.
Upon his retirement, he had one simple request for his son: "Fred, make sure they don't mess with my Booker's!" The good news is that "the three B's" have made a triumphant return. We stocked them years ago but have been unable to get our hands on them for a while. Now, they are back alongside their brother, Knob Creek, on our shelves.
