Hailing from Campbeltown on the west coast of Scotland, Springbank Single Malt is established in 1828 and remains truly unique, with 100% of its production process carried out on-site using traditional methods. This particular 1998 vintage is 100% sherry matured and boasts a strength of 48.3%. Only 1,500 bottles are available.

On the nose, one can expect inviting notes of Medjool dates, blackberries, white chocolate, and caramel. The palate initially presents an intriguing earthiness, which then evolves to reveal layers of shortbread, brandy butter, and warming cloves. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving behind traces of varnished wood, nutmeg, and crystallised ginger. In addition to this vintage, Springbank whiskies are lightly peated, distilled 2.5 times, and available in a range of ages including 10, 15, 18, 21, and 30 years.
