A flavoursome and characterful Margaux. Château Castelbruck is the second wine of Château Haut Breton Larigaudière, a 15 hectare Margaux estate between Soussans and Arsac bought by the current owners, the Schepper family, in the 60s. Soils are a combination of deep gravel, sand and clay.

This wine is generous, deep and brambley with cedar spiced oak on the nose which mellows if decanted. The palate is rich and robust with lovely plum and herbal characters, a supple tannic structure and long finish. Open well in advance of drinking or decant to enjoy this very characterful Margaux at its best.
