The Macallan Double Cask 18 year old reveals the unrivaled commitment to the mastery of wood and spirit for which The Macallan has been known for since it was established in 1824. It is an expression of their desire to go beyond ordinary, to seek out the extraordinary and create peerless single malts.

On the nose this is Dried fruits, ginger and toffee with rich orange and hunts of clove and nutmeg. The palate is rich raisins and sultanas with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus. The finis is warm oak spice with a mix of ginger and sweet orange.
