Rabarbro Bergia was originally created by the Bergia distillery, founded in Turin 1870. Back then it was known as 'rhubarb infusion' and produced using a proprietary production process, which involved extracting the most aromatic parts of the rhubarb root. From here this liqueur became world famous and has collected gold and silver medals as well as 4 diplomas of honour in the most prestigious international competitions.
Intense aromas of rhubarb, vegetal with a slight citrus note. The flavour is initially sweet and balsamic notes of spices, these soon give way to an intense, persistent taste of rhubarb that becomes pleasingly bitter.
