The Bothy (Bothy is a small hut or cottage originally for farm laborers - now hikers) is a cask strength whisky that has spent 7 years maturing in ex-Bourbon casks and then for a further 2 years in 125L American Oak 'Quarter' casks.
The result is a whisky with an antique gold appearance with aromas of classic Arran citrus with sweet spice of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate you will discover amongst some sweet honey notes, pineapple, vanilla and coconut.
