A blend of 21 herbs and spices, many picked in and around Knightor, are used in our rosé vermouth. Many classic herbs were used such as Wormwood, Bay and Fennel, plus some more unusual, herein lies the key to the elegance, complexity and a little bitterness. The herbs were first infused in a fruity Eau de vie distilled from our own grape skins. After a short steeping period, the herb infusion was blended with one of our fruity rose sparkling base wines allowed to mature and integrate for a short period before bottling.
Knightor base wine is the backbone of our rosé vermouth, providing ample citrus fruit characters plus all the crispness and elegance you would expect. A fruity, easy drinking vermouth. Aromas of citrus, violets and red fruits with a gentle herbal backdrop. The palate is as exciting as it is easy, with fruity flavours abounding followed by lingering sweet spice and bitterness. Aromatic and pleasantly bitter.
Knightor rose vermouth brings an intensity of colour to your cocktails but is also wonderful served with a splash of premium tonic water.
