From the producsers of Stroh this is a 40% version of the famous 80% Austrian spiced rum that has been in production since 1832 by Stroh, Austria. It has become something of a cult drink and a much sought after commodity what with the rum being sold in over forty countries worldwide.

Stroh rum is a protected product of Austria and is known as Inländer rum due 100% of the rum being produced from sugar molasses in Austria itself. In other words, their is no imported rum in Stroh, just the liquid that's been made within the country. The bottle and label design have remained constant over the many years since its inception, making it known as 'The Spirit of Austria'. It's used extensively in cocktails but also influences a great deal of Austrian cuisine with it being a key ingredient in many of the countries famous pastry dishes.

The rum is surprisingly soft and delicate considering its high alcohol volume and is well balanced with slight floral notes.
