Bobby's Gin is named after Jacobus Alfons, who has born in Indonesia but migrated to the Netherlands in 1950. He loved the taste of Dutch Genever, but missed the taste of home and started to infuse it with spices and herbs from his native land, not knowingly creating his own gin. In 2012 his grandson Sebastien found a bottle and started a journey to re-create the gin his Grandfather first made back in the 50s. The result is by combining local botanicals such as juniper and rosehips with the exotic spice and cloves of lemongrass and cubeb pepper, Sebastiaan has created a unique recipe that creates one exceptional gin.
Process
Bobby’s is a unique blend of Indonesian spices and traditional botanicals. All 8 botanicals are seperately distilled. No additives, sugars or extractions, just a simple pure and natural taste. A fresh take on a timeless classic.
