Blair Athol is located in Pitlochry. It is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries establish in 1790's. This expression has been matured in first fill sherry and a refilled sherry hogshead. On the nose it has candied fruit with sherry notes and toasted malt. The palate is peppery initially with citrus fruits and hints of almond with a spicy finish of cloves.
