With oak ageing for 22 months, using the stirring technique or battonnage while the wine is in the cask. The blending or coupage is performed after this process has finished the wine spends 2 years in the bottle before release for sale.

The wine is intense cherry red in colour. Fine toasted aromas (cocoa, vanilla, English pipe tobacco), with hints of ripe red berries and the subtle nuances of reduction. On the palate, round and supple, with excellent complexity of red berry fruit and fine toasted hints of oakiness. Long and elegant finish.

Composition of 70 % Tempranillo, 20 % Garnacha and 10 % Graciano. The best grapes are selected for this wine (old vines, goblet-pruned, grown in clay-calcareous or alluvial soils, with low yields).
