Trapiche Estacion 1883 Malbec 2017 75cl

Trapiche was established in 1883 at the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza, Trapiche pronounced: tra-peach-chay is one of Argentina's oldest wineries. The vineyard was built next to the railway line so that the wine barrels could be easily loaded into the wagons.

The aromas of this malbec are of fresh red fruit and blackcurrant with flora undertones and earthy minerals. On the palate this wine is rich and spicy providing a long and enjoyable finish.

A great wine to be paired with gilled red meats, stews, pasta with mushroom sauces and chesses.
