  • Patron Silver Tequila 40% 70cl
Patron Silver is called young or "joven" tequila. A similarity may be made to a young or nouvelle wine.

It is known for its light, fresh, crystal clear look and an elegant smoothness not found in other silver tequilas. Many prefer this smooth, soft and light tequila over an aged and slightly oaky flavour. Those that know the difference may find Patron Silver the finest silver tequila available. It is perfect for blending with a high quality mixer or may be easily sipped.

Patron Tequila, like the great wines and congacs of the world, is exceptional for a reason. It begins with the finest growing region in Mexico. High in the mountains of Jalisco exists a region which allows with perfect soil and climate which allows the sugar and acid balances of the Weaber Tequilana Blue Agave to mature and produce an 'Agave Pina' unequalled elsewhere in the world.

Like premium wine grapes, the sugar acid balance must be perfect before harvest.

Patron tequilas are the only tequilas truly produced in the traditional handmade fashion. After harvest the 'pina' are carefully selected, trimmed and then slowly steam baked. When cooked to perfection the 'pina' is macerated with large, natural, stone-milling wheels. The fermentation is done with the fiber of the 'pina' which helps impart its unique flavour and smoothness. After a double distillation process the tequila is aged in small oak barrels. When properly aged the tequila is fine filtered and ready for careful hand bottling.

Each bottle is invidually signed and given a unique bottle number due to the limited number produced.

Tapatio is the Mexican word meaning a person from Guadalajara.
This is Tequila made in the same way as it was 100 years ago with a stone wheel (Tahona) turning round and round in a pit crushing the Agave - , then mixed by foot, by a man up to his chest in a barrel of Agave juice and crushed Agave fibres, before fermentation and distillation including the unique style of adding the Agave fibres to the distillation. Visiting the distillery is a trip back in time, and is an experience rarely to be found in modern day Tequila. The blanco has a pronounced peppery/spicy aroma and an extraordinary explosion of flavours in the mouth. You won't want to shoot or slam this nectar.

Reposado - A more restrained tequila than the Blanco, with subtle wood tones. Reposado ("rested") tequila, by law, requires ageing for two months. Tapatio Reposado is aged for around 4 months in oak barrels to bring in a hint of sweetness from the wood, without overpowering the spicy agave flavour.

  • Maestro Dobel Diamond Tequila 40% 75cl
A truely unique Tequila, Maestro Dobel is handcrafted from a blend of Reposado, Anejo and Extra-Anejo tequilas. Maestro Dobel is the creation of Juan-Domingo Dobel Beckmann, the sixth generation director of the worlds most prominent tequila producing family.
Each bottle carries a unique Bottle number and date it was bottled and the person it was made by.
The huge popularity of silver tequilas in the US inspired Beckmann to create a clear tequila from carefully selected aged tequilas which did not compromise on quality or flavour. The result is unique, luxurious clear tequila with the complexity of an aged cognac and the crispness of luxury vodkas.
The aroma shows subtle, baked agave with a slight sweetness mixed with earthy aspects. The palate is full bodied and extremely smooth with complex and striking oak, vanilla and butterscotch notes, together with a little herbal spice balanced by the agave sweetness. It finishes swiftly with sweet honey and with a little more of a spicy snap.

The phrase 'the first-ever diamond tequila' is used to describe the similarities between the precious stone and this tequila. It goes that the four C's can be used to describe the Clarity, Complexity, Crispness and Craftsmanship of the spirit. This is reflected in this extremely fine tequila and is deserving of this recognition.

The 'clarity' of the tequila is due to a special filtering system which rids the spirit of its by-products of fermentation, including the colour typical of aged tequilas. 'Complexity' refers to the three traditionally aged tequilas in the blend and 'crispness' to the quality which is attributed to the hand-selected agave plants. The 'Craftsmanship' is recognition to the Tequila Maestros who are behind each small batch of the tequila produced.

    Tasting Notes
:Visual phase: Deeper cooper and red tones are noticeable on the tasting glass, with copper tones under the light, of great body and thicker tears.
Scents/ Aromas: Sweet notes of cooked agave with a greater dominance of oak scents, as well as deeper maple, vanilla and toffee notes as result of its longer aging in casks.
Taste: Silky and smooth tasting, with an enjoyable body in the palate. Its scents of maple and toffee amongst others and increased oak flavour are clearly perceived.
