    Taste of fine dry and tartly dark chocolate. 87% pure cocoa macerate. Alcoholic base: fine distillate from sugar cane. Mozart Black shows notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, and caramel, as well as smoky and tartly notes of cocoa. Bitter sweet, long-lasting finish.The used cocoa is a special blend of the types Forastero (West Africa) and Trinitario (Caribbean). The vanilla used is real Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar. Mozart Black contains cocoa macerate, vanilla macerate, and sugar cane distillate.

    The cocoa and Bourbon vanilla are macerated for 30 days in sugarcane distillate.A certain part of the cocoa macerate is kept in oak barrels for two years to round of the taste. With chocolate spirits it is essential to macerate instead of conching as it takes a long time to extract the aromas.

  • Barenjager Honey Liqueur 35% 70cl
    A type of German Brenfang (literally bear trap) honey liqueur, Brenjger (bear hunter) is a delicious vodka-based liqueur that can be enjoyed straight over ice, added to tea or a hot toddy, or even poured straight on vanilla ice cream.

    First brewed in Eastern Prussia during the 15th century, Brenjger became the first commercial brand of Barenfang. Produced using Mexican nectar honey from the Yucatan province by Teucke & Koenig Bear Trap Company (today known simply as Teucke & Koenig), the Brenjger bottle features an image of a fur trapper trapping a bear and a beehive-shaped cap.

  • Luxardo Passione Nera 38% 70cl
    A variation of the traditional Sambuca dei Cesari Luxardo. It is aromatised with liquorice, with a production recipe entailing several levels of successive infusions to blend the different ingredients. The predominant taste is star anise. However, it is combined with a new velvety sensation on the palate, with light spicy hints of cardamom and coriander, and an after-taste where the typical digestive aromas of liquorice predominate. It is neither an ordinary liquorice digestivo, nor a commonplace coffee-sambuca.

    :Colour: Bright gingery-gold. Swirl the glass to reveal the rich viscosity, as legs slowly form and trickle down the sides.
    Nose: Ginger to the fore, then Rosemary slightly more pronounced than the subtler thyme, with fresh orange notes before slightly tarter lemon giving a zing, followed again at the end with another lingering ginger note.
    Taste: Herbs and fruit peels plus the ginger all in tandem, fill the palate and the creaminess of Ogilvy Potato Vodka adds to the rich mouthfeel.
    Finish: Spicy ginger bites comfortingly as you swallow and lingers long. The sweetness is that of a light dessert, at only 83 grams of sugar per litre it is less than half of the lowest known liqueurs.
