Description
This elegant sparkling wine is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, sourced from Camel Valley's single vineyard. A Blanc de Noir, it showcases the unique fruit characters of English-grown Pinot Noir.
The winemaking process begins with careful crushing to preserve the special fruit notes. Only the free-run juice is used for this sparkling wine, while the pressed juice is directed to still wine production. The juice is then cooled to 4°C, further enhancing its fruit aromas. Fermentation is kept at a low temperature of 13°C, resulting in a fruit-forward base wine. This wine has spent 24 months on its lees, developing both fruit freshness and a subtle, fresh yeasty character.
The Camel Valley White Pinot Noir Brut presents a fine, filigree mousse, with vibrant youthful red fruit flavours and a light finish. It's excellent enjoyed in its youth, or can be cellared to allow its structure and more mature characteristics to evolve.
