Looking for a mainstream style that also retains an awesome story? This field blend has it all. A number of different grape varieties grow together in this old vineyard site, at around 800 metres altitude. The vines are of average age 80-100 years and they grow in clay and sandy soils. After hand-harvesting the grapes are co-fermented in small presses, plot by plot. The wine spends 6 months in used French oak before bottling.

A juicy full-bodied, smooth, dry red tamed by the addition of white variries in the blend, and a small, well-judged touch of oak to soften the tannins and add complexity.
