Modest, passionate and in no small way obsessive, Abel Mendoza and Maite Fernandez have been making understated wines from their old vine vineyards that are located high up in the Cantabrian mountains near San Vicente de la Sonsierra since the late 1980's!

There has been no oak ageing with this wine and fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks to produce a clean and linear wine. It has immense charm on the nose, with fresh aromas of white peaches and flowers; whilst the palate is crisp, with hints of fennel and anise.

Enjoy this wine with simple grilled fish and shellfish, garlic prawns, grilled squid or zesty salads.
