Description
Derived from the Old French word "freste," meaning the summit or crest of a hill, Sous Frétille is located at the foot of Mount Frétille, which reaches a height of 385 meters. Due to the exceptional quality of its terroir, the appellation was classified as Premier Cru in 2001.
This wine is 100% Chardonnay, made from hand-picked grapes and aged in oak barrels. It is pale in colour with delicate citrus aromas and a subtle vanilla note. On the palate, it combines the freshness of the fruit with the characteristic minerality of the terroir, offering a smooth and long finish.
