Produced from 100% primitivo grapes from vines of approximately 85 years old. The wine is matured for 14 months in medium toasted French oak and a further 12 months in bottle.

The aromas are meticulous and a classic expression of a quality primitivo, intense notes of ripe fruit that opens to tobacco and a soft finish of chocolate and coffee. The palate is velvet like and rich with tannins that are capable of expanding in the glass, leaving length and flavour with notes of chocolate and tobacco over a rich red fruit bed.
