With a name like Paul Hobbs behind it you can expect quality and this wine certainly delivers that. After a traditional red wine fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in a combination of 37% new French oak barrels and 63% second-use oak barrels.
A deep inky violet colour. The nose is expressive, floral, and fresh, with hints of cherries and vanilla. The wine has subtle tannins, is elegant, refined, and delicate, yet still possesses a lively energy.
