At the very mouth of the Loire river, Muscadet’s heartland is in Sevre et Maine, just east of Nantes, and Chateau de Cleray is one of its most respected growers. The Muscadet Fildefer is bright and stony, super-fresh with lovely acidity, a real must - everything about this wine is a winner, right down to the cool clamp-style closure.
