This single vineyard El Cepillo sits 4,265 ft above sea level and is laid across marine limestone. This vintage is made from 85% cabernet franc and 15% malbec that have undergone barrel fermentation and an average of 23 days of cold maceration with 30% undergoing whole bunch. Aged for 15 months in 100 year old foundre's.
A deep ruby presentation gives way to aromas of muddled blackberries and leafy tobacco. The palate is balanced with great structure that leads to a grippy finish. It certainly has a good future ahead of itself.
