Now obviously, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon do not ripen in this climate so this wine is made from grapes grown undercover. But, it makes for an interesting table chat and tasting. It has also been aged in a mixture of French oak barrels for over a year.

On the nose there is aromas of blackcurrants spice and green pepper. The palate really shows this green pepper off with it being well integrated with stewed fruits and spice.
