Filey Bay's #2 batch of their IPA finish is made with their signature Flagship whisky which is matured in ex-bourbon casks for 3-4 years and then the whisky goes into ex-Wold Top Scarborough Fair IPA beer barrels for a further 9 months maturation. Filey Bay IPA Finish Batch #2 is fruity and biscuity with green apple notes and a slightly hoppy flavour profile that makes for a delicious and distinctive single malt. Keeping it in the family, there are only a handful of IPA Finished whiskies available around the world and none with a story quite as fresh as this (literally).
