Lindores Abbey Distillery is back with its second Cask of Lindores series. The second installment in the new series is matured in Shaved, Toasted and Recharred Red Wine Barriques from Spain and Portugal for over 4 years with the age of the youngest spirit being 4 years and 8 months.

On the nose it has very mellow fruity plum jam, caramelized muscovado sugar and cinnamon touches. The palate is sweet plums and dates with ripe apricots and spices - the use of red wine casks is very evident and a fine touch to this whisky. It has a very smooth texture and a pleasant finish with notes of spice, honey and caramel.
