Cabernet Touriga blends typically combine cabernet sauvignon with the Portuguese well known grape touriga nacionel for its intense colour and flavours. This wine is rich and full bodied with firm tannins with good acidity. The nose has notes of dark fruit, blackberry and black cherry along with hints of spice and tobacco. On the palate flavours of ripe fruit, chocolate and coffee can become apparent.
