Produced from a small batch of five oloroso sherry hogsheads from Ben Nevis Distillery has been used. Found next to the River Lochy on the outskirts of Fort William, Ben Nevis is known for its full, fruity profile. This whisky has a nose of chocolate, caramel and toasted hazelnuts which all pile out of the glass while a backbone of walnuts and dates show depth. The palate is filled with milk and nut chocolate bars from the start and becomes richer and sweeter with notes of creme caramel.
