The Quinta da Fonte Souto Rose was produced with a small experimental blend of Aragonez from the estate's hillside vineyards on the slopes of Serra de Sao Mamede in Portalegre.

Initially intended as a trial, its quality, balance and freshness exceeded expectations and so its become part of the Symington Family.

The transitional soils of schist and granite, ensure an ideal balance between good water retention levels and good drainage. The wines express the freshness and balance that derive from high altitude, as well as the structure and complexity that result from mature vines with low yields.
