Description
This Alentejano red is from one of the leading wine estates in this region, Herdade dos Grous. Produced by oenologist Luis Duarte, Herdade's entry level red is made from a blend of Aragonez 35%, Alicante Buschet 35%, Touriga Nacional 20%, Syrah 10%. The wine is aged in French oak for 9 months and produces a fruit forward style wine, rich complex with plummy-red tones. The fruit is well integrated with the oak, full flavoured with good concentration and a soft tannic structure.
