Description
The blend is naturally fermented and aged in older 225L barrels for 18 months. The blend is made up of 57% cabernet sauvignon, 29% cabernet franc, 8% malbec and 6% petit verdot. This Bordeaux Blend has aromas of blackcurrant, dark chocolate and nutmeg. The palate is structured with firm tannins and great acidity, leading to a long finish.
Gabrielskloof is a family owned winery on the outskirts of the Bot River in the district of Walker Bay. The winemaking philosophy is one of minimal intervention, as they believe this is the best way to refelect and give prominence to the terroir of the vineyards they work with.
