Natural sweet wine, dark ruby in colour. Made from the partially fermented must of sunned Pedro Ximenez grapes. Built in 1838 along the banks of the Guadalete River when entering the Atlantic - provides the perfect microclimate for sherry (which is aged in American oak barrels in direct contact with the air). The family Gutierrez Colosia has a long traditional heritage of 'nursing' sherry for generations.
