This single cask is rich and golden amber in colour. Aromas are with spicy hints of cinnamon and nutmeg that precede creamy vanilla, butterscotch and sweet caramelised demerara sugar. The palate is like hot butter that covers the palate, followed by hints of fresh conference pear, summer strawberries and fresh cream, Braeburn apple, blackberries, prunes and cool fresh honeydew melon.

The Man O' Words range is dedicated to Robert Burns, Scotland's favourite Poet, exciseman to the Annan area in his later years with ties to Dumfries / The Globe Inn, Co-Owner David's favourite pub in his rugby days. Man O' Words is the name sake of the unpeated expressions.
