Single cask 587 of this single malt from Annandale has a amber hue presence. The nose is treated to initial rich hints of caramalising brown sugar that opens up to dried notes of dates and raisins, rich Christmas cake and back notes of creamy sweet vanilla and salted caramel. The palate gets nutty notes of hazel and walnut that lead into a spicy, tongue mouthfeel and caramel finish.

The Man O' Words range is dedicated to Robert Burns, Scotland's favourite Poet, exciseman to the Annan area in his later years with ties to Dumfries / The Globe Inn, Co-Owner David's favourite pub in his rugby days. Man O' Words is the name sake of the unpeated expressions.
